Featured Products - Anticipation; The First Book

Two of my many favorite things: photography and skiing, now come together in these pages of the first book.

“Anticipation” began during a college semester at SUNY Delhi. Majoring in Electrical Engineering, the creative in me spontaneously took a short story writing class. The concept was easy; the professor, (Gus Pellitier) unfailingly tolerant of revisions. (He handed out the highest grade earned –a very rarely obtained C+ Earning that, I would come to realize engineering was not in the cards.) The short story upon which this book is based was then published in the 1990 issue of Delhi’s annual “Agate” Literary & Arts magazine. So proud that I had earned publication, I have treasured my copy of that magazine through the years. I treasured it so deeply that I put it in a special place for safekeeping.

There it doth remain: I have no idea where –lost in the piles of the Shunique abyss!

I extend my gratitude to Dr. Benjamin S. West, a current Professor of Liberal Arts and Sciences at SUNY Delhi, whose passion project is the “Agate." During my first telephone call to him, Dr. West excitedly explored the archives and located the 1990 issue of the “Agate.” Displaying superior dedication to his craft, Dr. West promptly provided me with a copy of my published short story.

I thank you for your support.

Anticipation is now out

The anticipation is over... the book is out

Known to annoy many a tolerant friend with a moment of “hang on, I have to get this shot,” –simply more doing and not asking, most of my photography is captured in a spontaneous second of vision, as a remarkable scene demands my attention.

Rarely a day has passed without a handful of photos snapped since I first picked up a camera at a very early age. I have a knack for spotting and capturing an exceptional ray of light, a unique reflection, a rare juxtaposition, or an unconventional perspective in the day-to-day moment. This magnificent planet inspires me to tell its stories through distinctive images of extraordinary snapshots.
